| Last weekend the owner Jon was driving home in his Z when he was cut off by a suv running him off the road into a tree. Thankfully he is okay and was able to walk away. This was around the Universal Florida theme park area. He ask if they could check their cameras to see if they could get the plate of the suv. They refused and also would not allow him to file a police report because it was on private property. This is all I know of about the accident. A little background on the car. Jon originally purchased the car as a stock NA AT 2+2. I had installed a new EFI harness and 120k service on the car while it was NA. He then began having transmission problems. This is where he decided to go ahead and do a TT swap. So I completed the TT swap with basic Stage 3 mods. The car stayed auto because he had back problems which gave him pain when driving a manual car. He daily drove the car for about 2-3 years with very few problems. He had also been purchasing parts to upgrad turbos which will be up for sale sometime. It sucks to see one less Z on the road. Hopefully he'll purchase another Z in the future. I've purchased the car and will be parting it out when I get a chance. Here are some before pictures after the swap.
